It will save you time, money, energy, stress and guide you every step of the way from sure start to happy ending.

Start Right: Build Your Own Business has been co-written by Ms. Jeannine Lecy, CEO of Egan Enterprises, Inc., who has worked with more than 650 small businesses over the past 20 years, and The American Center for Credit Education (ACCE), a nonprofit, accredited organization
whose mission is to make national standardized credit and financial education available to all consumers.

They have included everything you'll need to start and run a successful business, right from your own business pre-assessment process to writing a mission statement, creating a business plan, budgeting, asking for professional help, office organization, branding, marketing, and finally, (you guessed it) your business post-assessment process (to be filled in after you finish reading the book).

What I liked best about the book is that this book not only provides the necessary information but also the motivation, guidance, and encouragement to take action, using case studies and detailed worksheets.

I also liked the carefully curated quotations in every chapter.

An absolute must-read!!

I'm a creative, right-brained entrepreneur who was nervous about learning to handle my business finances. This book explains it all simply and clearly, with lots of charts to illustrate what to do. I talked to a business mentor who told me that the number one thing small-business owners make mistakes with is their finances. If you follow what's in this book, you will know how to take care of the money for yourself and your business!

I also liked the section that tells you how to research a business idea. I live in a town where lots of copycat businesses seem to open and close quickly. Research is the way to make sure your business stands out and fills a need in your area!

This answered questions I didn't know I had, and makes me feel a lot better prepared to run my business.

Very In Depth Guide

I agreed to receive a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. After getting into it I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to see that it is very well written and has a lot of depth. It covers lots of ground with all the details you could need to start a business. Whether you want to buy an existing business or start your own included in this package are many worksheets to help you determine what you need to do to get started on the path to success. There are stories and examples throughout that give you the good and bad side of things to help you attain a good understanding of all the ins and outs of business. I would recommend it to anyone interested in getting in business for themselves.

GREAT READ!!!!!

Great read! I loved this book as well as her others. I don't know why some people wouldn't like this book because of "grammar" run on sentences etc. Yes because THAT'S why I read the books because of grammar(sarcasm) incase in was hard to miss! I could completely keep up with the characters. I had no problem at all. Love scence's weren't clumsy but just as hot as all her other love scenes. Let me tell you if you had a problem with those scenes because of grammar you have more problems than not liking a book! Thanks for another great read!!!!!!!

Brody by Joyee Flynn is the eighth book in the Resistant Omegas series.

Brody was sold to the dire wolf pack at the age of six and he was the first of fifteen Omegas who were held there until they were freed by the members of the Omega Network. Omegas had been sold to the highest bidder and used to give their inner circle power without anyone to help them until the Omega Network was set up. Brody had his omega powers activated as a child when his alpha sexually abused him. He did everything he could to protect the younger children, even if that meant taking their place in the alphas bed.

Tristan, an omega, is captured by the Wolf Council for questioning and the Omegas fear that the past may be repeating itself. Hundreds of years ago, Omegas were killed by their inner circles because they were frightened of the powers they were gaining. Wesley, the strongest Omega, goes to Lord Ellys, an ancient vampire, to go to the council to testify about the atrocities committed against the Omegas, since he had been alive at the time. As Wesley and the Omegas start the task of assessing the council members to ensure they were the correct individuals to be there, Brody's powers begin to spiral out of control. I was taken by surprise by the way this book started. I knew that this confrontation would occur at some time, but the way it unfolded took my breath away. It was horrifying the way the Omegas and the Vampires were almost exterminated hundreds of years ago, but Lord Ellys' willingness to assist them in anyway showed that it was time to set the record straight. As Brody's past was revealed, it was easy to understand his hesitancy to trust Leif, Asher and Jaxon. It was sad how he felt that he was to blame for the abuse the other children with him took, when in reality he shielded them as much as he could, figuring he wasn't much older than they were at the time. As the powers of the Omegas increase, it was easy to understand why others would be afraid, except that all they wanted was to live in peace with their mates. Someone brought up the point that maybe there was something or someone that forced the inner circles to kill their Omegas hundreds of years ago, but no one knows. That is one question to the many secrets about the Omegas that has yet to be revealed.

Why do I keep reading these?

It's not a novel, it's a wordy short story. Characters are cardboard cutouts with almost nothing to identify them from one another. The sex is clumsy and formulaic, the plot half-baffling and half-boring, the dialogue wooden and stilted. Maybe the author has to write a certain number of these to fulfil a contract? Regardless, this took me all of 40 minutes to read, and I'm annoyed I devoted even that much time to this mess.
And I even LIKE gay werewolf porn, too.

About the Author
Samson received his BSc and Agrégation degree in Applied Physics from École Normale Supérieure (Cachan) and his MSc and PhD in Signal Processing from École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (Paris). Professional experience. He has been working with Motorola Labs for three years (1999, 2000, 2001) and with France Télécom R&D for two years (2002, 2003). Since 2004, he has joined the CNRS and Supélec. Since 2004, he is also Chargé d'Enseignement at École Polytechnique. His broad interests lie in the areas of communications, signal processing and information theory with a special emphasis on game theory for wireless communications. Samson Lasaulce is the recipient of the 2007 ACM/ICST International Conference on Performance Evaluation Methodologies and Tools (VALUETOOLS) and 2009 International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks and Communications (CROWNCOM) best student paper awards. Elena Veronica Belmega, who is a PhD student under my supervision, was awarded with the 2009 Academy of Sciences - L'Oreal - Unesco award for young women in sciences in France.

Simple and Meaningful

This book came right on time for me this year. So often in the hustle and bustle to buy presents and prepare for family gatherings I feel I lose the Christmas Spirit. More important than long wish lists and Santa Claus is the true meaning behind the holiday.

A Christ-Centered Christmas takes each nativity piece and centers a story and activity around that figure. The chapters are small but thought provoking. Also included are recipes for yummy Holiday treats like hot cocoa and candy cane cookies. Next year we plan on having one lesson each week for seven weeks to correspond with the chapters in the book. A Christ-Centered Christmas would be a great gift for those you love as it invites all to feel and learn the real lessons behind the symbols we so often see this time of year...the bell, the star, the shepard's crook. It's message is simple but powerful.

This book is a wonderful resource for keeping Christ at the center of Christmas celebrations. Each chapter ends with scriptures, songs & ideas for focusing more on the significance of this sacred event. It's a must in any Christian and particularly LDS (Mormon) home.

My husband and I had been discussing that we wanted to do something for Christmas this year to make it special. Our kids are getting a little older and only the youngest still believes in Santa Claus. We really wanted to focus less on getting and more on giving to others this year.

I have heard Emily Freeman speak at Time Out for Women and think she is a wonderful speaker and author so I was excited when I received a copy of her book A Christ-Centered Christmas to review. As I started reading this book I realized this was the answer to what we needed to do to make this Christmas special.

We have a nativity we set up each year but I opted to go purchase a new small nativity set that my children could handle without breaking to use in conjunction with this book. There are 7 figures from the Christmas story that are used in this book. Mary, Joseph, the Angel, the Lamb, the Shepard, the Wise Men & the Baby Jesus. With each figure there is a song, story and activity/tradition to do to help keep the focus of the season on Christ. The activities are simple and things that could easily be done or adapted to work in most families.

We started tonight by talking about Mary. Our 5 children were very receptive. We now have a small nativity sitting on top of our TV with a the lone figure of Mary. When we were done our 5 year old wanted to jump right in and start on the next figurine.

I’m looking forward to spending a little time each week from now until Christmas focusing on the Savior and the true meaning of Christmas.

About the Author

Courttia Newland is the author of seven works of fiction. His latest, The Gospel According to Cane, was published in 2013 and has been optioned by Cowboy Films as TV Serial for the BBC. He was nominated for the Impac Dublin Literary Award and The Frank O' Conner award, as well as numerous others. His short stories have appeared in many anthologies and broadcast on Radio 4. He is Associate Lecturer in Creative Writing at Birkbeck, University of London, UK, and is completing a PhD in Creative Writing.

Tania Hershman is an award-winning writer of short and very short stories which have been widely published in print and online and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and 4. Her first collection, The White Road and other Stories (2008) was commended, 2009 Orange Award for New Writers. Her second, My Mother Was An Upright Piano: Fictions (2012), contains 56 very short fictions and was longlisted for the 2012 Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award. Tania is founding editor of The Short Review, curator-in-chief of UK & Ireland short story hub ShortStops, and regularly teaches workshops on short fiction and using science as inspiration. Love at Second Sight

I went through quite a process with this book. I am a published novelist who had never written a short story. I wanted to give it a try, and this was the first book on writing short stories I picked up. While I found the initial chapters on the history of the short story and its celebration as an art form interesting, I found myself irritated by their repetitiveness and a certain preciousness in what I experienced as rather over-the-top preaching to the choir, to those already enamored of short stories, eulogizing this form of expression. I seriously considered reading no further. I persisted more due to cussed stubbornness than any real hope I would find what I was looking for. Against my expectations, as the book progressed I was rewarded with a steady stream of hard-headed chapters full of practical and clearly-expressed advice about writing. The greatest accolade I can give this book is that I took some notes on the points that impressed me the most, sat down, and ten days after I first opened this book, days in which I had very little time to spare, I was staring at the rough draft of my first short story and notes for two others. Since this is the only book on writing the short story I have read so far, I can't make any comparisons. I can only say that for me the time I spent reading Writing Short Stories was exceedingly well invested.
